"Aloha and Welcome to the Department of Finance. We are one of five academic departments within the Shidler College of Business. We aspire to excellence in teaching and research and seek to maximize the value of your educational experience.
Our goal is to help you create large growth opportunities in pursuing a
career in business and specifically in the area of financial management.
Within our department we offer 5 tracks of study. The tracks are Business
Financial Management, Investments Management, Financial Services and
Planning, Asian Finance, and Real Estate Finance.
All
of our degree programs are fully accredited by the Association
to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), which
is the "gold standard" of business school accrediting
bodies. In addition, we have the only program in the State
of Hawaii registered with the Certified Financial Planner
Board of Standards, Inc.
We believe the time spent
studying the field of financial management should pay big dividends in the
future and should provide you with a high return on your investment.
